Practically, keeping illness at bay..... this icky sicky season

I have used and tested a all purpose antibiotic ointment for years! I have testimonials from friends, family and customers of the successful uses for what we call Green Goo. This ointment contains a hefty combination of effective essential oils that kill fungus, bacteria, virus for starters. This ointment accelerates the skins response to all kinds of various attacks from itchy rashes to infection, bug bites, eczema. We have reports of 24 hour relief of sties. Earwig bites get inflamed and painful but one testimonial of a our favorite nurse describes a 24 hour miraculous reduction of inflammation and 48 hour relief of what had become a nasty bite that in her estimation may have needed medical attention if it had not responded quickly!

What the store pics won't show you is the "goo". We offer a 2 oz or 4 oz version. It is aloe based with glycerin for added moisture retention. We have a proprietary blend of oils that include, Lavender, Tea Tree Lemon, 3 kinds of Chamomile, Bergamot, Rose Hydrolat, Neroli

It is too lengthy to pen all the things this combination of oils address here by testimony and expeirence but let's  say this:
(for the FDA: this isn't intended to cure, treat or something something...this isn't recommended to replace the advice of your doctor.)

AND....  Properties of Lavender Moldova Essential Oil include analgesic, anti-convulsive, anti-depressant, anti-phlogistic, antirheumatic, antseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, bactericide, carminative, cholagogue, cicatrisant, cordial, cytophylactic, decongestant, deodorant, and as a diuretic. Herbalist regards Lavender as the most useful and versatile essential oil for therapeutic purposes. Lavender is the essential oil most commonly associated with burns and healing of the skin. It also has antiseptic and analgesic properties which will ease the pain of a burn and prevent infection. It also has cytophylactic properties that promote rapid healing and help reduce scarring. The scent of Lavender is said to have a calming effect on the body and it can be used to reduce anxiety, stress and promote sleep. The different soil, temperature, precipitation, etc. contributes to some subtle changes in scent, the greatest advantage being for more sophisticated label claims.

Much like regular Tea Tree, Tea Tree Lemon Essential Oil is said to have antiseptic, anti-microbial, carminative and sedative properties. It is used extensively in the perfumery, cosmetic, and aromatherapy industries. It has also grown into a premiere ingredient in bug-repellent products – particularly those with a natural slant. Its anti-allergenic and anti inflammatory properties also help in the relief of skin disorders and rheumatic ailments.

German Chamomile has natural properties that make it a relaxing and rejuvenating agent. Its trace amounts of lithium calm nerves and reduce stress, lower hysteria and over-sensitivity and aids with insomnia. Chamomile (Egypt) is also reputed to have excellent anti-inflammatory and antibiotic properties that can assist with cuts, wounds and insect bites.

The properties of Organic Chamomile Oil would indicate that is effective for skin care (for most skin-types), acne, allergies, boils, burns, eczema, inflamed skin conditions, earache, wounds, menstrual pain, premenstrual syndrome, headache, insomnia, nervous tension and other stress related disorders. It generally has a low toxicity, and is used commercially in shampoos for fair hair as it can lighten hair color.

Chamomile Moroccan is used by naturopaths and herbalists as an analgesic, anti-allergenic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antibacterial, carminative, hepatic, digestive, febrifuge, fungicidal, nerve sedative, sudorific, vermifuge, a stimulant of leucocyte production and as a vulnerary agent. This herb, with its trace amounts of lithium, has a long-standing medical tradition, especially in Europe, as a treatment for nervous dyspepsia and nervous bowel, tension headaches, and sleeplessness. The essential oil is an excellent skin-care remedy; it has many of the same qualities as Roman chamomile, except that its anti-inflammatory properties are greater because of a higher percentage of azulene.

Bergamot is used in many skin care creams and lotions because of its refreshing nature. It is ideally suited to help calm inflamed skin, and is an ingredient in some creams for eczema and psoriasis. Its chemical makeup has antiseptic properties which help ward off infection and aid recovery. It is also a favourite oil of aromatherapists in treating depression.

Neroli Essential Oil increases circulation and stimulates new cell growth. It can prevent scarring and stretch marks, and has been found useful in treating skin conditions linked to emotional stress. Any type of skin can benefit from this oil, although it is particularly good for dry, irritated or sensitive skin. It regulates oiliness and minimizes enlarged pores. Neroli Oil helps to clear acne and blemished skin, especially if the skin lacks moisture. With regular treatment, it can reduce the appearance of fragile or broken capillaries and varicose veins. Other properties include being antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, carminative, cordial, deodorant, digestive, stimulant (nervous) and tonic (cardiac, circulatory).
